HBO's biggest night is back with the return of The Sopranos and Entourage. Also premiering is a new show documenting the
pre-fight training of Oscar De La Hoya and Floyd Mayweather as they gear-up for a highly anticipated Cinco de Mayo battle.
The Sopranos - Last season was the weakest in the show's five-year history, The Sopranos needs to open with something heavy to keep their loyal fans from grimacing through the final nine episodes. Who's going to die? Johnny Sac? Christopher? Tony (gasp)? Will the escaped Russian in the Pine Barrens return from Season 3? Is Adriana really dead? With so many choices for plot development, The Sopranos should be able to end with a bang. And if not, fugeddaboutit.
Entourage - Another one of HBO's most successful shows that is coming off of its most critically panned season, Entourage left us all with a bad taste in our mouths. Last season’s finale ended with Ari being fired and Vince with no job. With Jeremy Piven carrying the show on his back and Kevin Dillon as the scene stealing Drama - hopefully the show’s secondary characters will have weightier roles this season. Hey, maybe Lloyd might become an agent.
It’s Easter on HBO, let’s hope these eggs don’t stink.
