Society itself is based on the normative conventions of behavior.  When an act is perpetrated outside this set of social standards, it is deemed deviant, perverse and otherwise inappropriate.  Oftentimes, the mere insinuation of such conduct is seen as offensive.

These are the circumstances surrounding the 10 advertisements about to be presented.  Their either explicit or implicit presentation of behavior pushed the boundaries of social convention and ultimately, acceptability.  Because of this, they generated a fair share of controversy – generally leading to a ban of the advertisement.
