We’re talking about proverbial trailblazers; those with the entrepreneurial spirit and so on. Frank Anthony Polito is one of those people! DM talks to him about his new book “Lost In The ‘90s.”

“Lost In the ‘90s” is being published by Woodward Avenue Books. Polito has gone through traditional publishers in the past, but this time around, it’s a different story. “I’ve done everything from writing, to editing, to designing the cover, and even handled all of the marketing and publicity,” Polito told us. Nick Parker of Z100 and WALK 97.5 is Debonair

Nick Parker. His Facebook page says he’s z100‘s youngest ZJ’s, which is quite an accomplishment. Debonair Magazine got a little glimpse as to who Parker – as he’s known to his friends – really is and what he thinks when he’s not at the microphone.

Paradise Pens, with Jim Paradise

Every true debonair should own a writing utensil from Paradise Pen. Jim Paradise, Executive Vice President of the company, tells Debonair Magazine how the upscale pen company got started and how the pens are not from your dad’s office. In our opinion, if it’s not Paradise, it’s not a pen.

Jim Paradise explained that although he has an official title for business purposes, Paradise Pen is a family owned business and titles really are not that important. He continued, “My father would be considered our CEO. My sister is also heavily involved in the business, and is currently a Buyer/Regional Manager.” [Read more...]

Robbie Leslie, now world-renowned DJ, drops by Debonair Magazine to answer a few short questions about Studio 54. So far this month, we’ve had great success peeking into the past and heard about what Studio was like from those who lived through it. But we haven’t heard from the beat of the pulse … the DJ. It all began around 1979.

-Current position: I’m a freelance DJ.
