Debonair Like Me: Cody Blymire

Debonair Magazine believes that everybody can be a little debonair from time to time. Whether you are on top of your fashion game, are a literature connoisseur, are an astronaut, have been on television, wrote the most historical symphony, or are just a regular old “Joe,” you are debonair to us. We want to highlight all walks of debonair from around the country and the world through our series “Debonair Like Me.”

Debonair Magazine: What does it mean to be “debonair” to you?

Cody Blymire: I think being debonair has two different forms, the physical and the behavioral. To be debonair physically means a person is well-kept and dresses rather elegantly. No matter where this person is – whether a gym or a social function – he has a sense of style and fashion.

I also think it is represented in a way a person carries themselves. Someone who is described as a debonair man should also be very well-mannered. A debonair man should serve as a good role model to the male youth and adolescence. A debonair man should be very confident in the way he looks, as well as be confident in himself, and be true to who he is. Another quality a debonair man should uphold is self-expression; he should be able to voice his opinion and stand-up for what he believes in. [Read more...]
