Though this trend has had previews in the fall collections, expect it to reach full bloom come spring. Thin, wide, horizontal, and vertical stripes will be traversing garments in every which way. And we`re not just talking black and white either. The increased focus on color means that stripes will be running together in any number of combinations, meaning that you can basically find a striped garment and match it with anything. But, if you need some help, a simple horizontal striped long sleeve looks great with a simple black vest or even with a
suit—just remember the
sneakers. Or, try incorporating
stripes as undergarments to give a hint of detail in a simple outfit. And, as always, a striped knit scarf never goes out of style.
