Snatch the Buffet Line Pass. Usually there's a sign that says, "VIP" or "Line Passes." A line pass gets you into the casino guest line, but does not pay for your food. As soon as you check in, you should strike up convo with a host and ask for these.
If you find that you’ve built up a fairly good standing with the host, maybe you should ask for the "Buffet Pass." It requires hardcore schmoozing, but it's always best to ask for that so your party can eat for free. These “Buffet Passes” usually include the "Line Pass."
Mooch the Weak (Read:FREE) Cocktails. One comp everyone gets while playing is a "free" cocktail, or drink. Waitresses constantly walk by with cocktails or drinks. To get one, all you have to do is grab their attention and then place your order. Your Jack and Coke will probably be watered down, but most casinos offer the sauce in unlimited supply. Even if takes ten drinks to get a buzz, you must remember that it was ten
free drinks.
And, as always, don’t forget to tip your waitress.
Grab a Comp Card. The casino also wants to ensure that you’ve lost plenty of cash, and the best way to do this is by allowing them to track your gaming process through a “comp card.” This allows the casino to keep track of your average bet and your elapsed time of play. The Pit Boss could award you a comp based on these statistics.
Make sure to hand your card to the dealer when you play. You may not get anything marked if you only play for a few minutes; make sure you play long enough for them to recognize how much you’ve spent. Never play at the slots or video poker machines without your card.
