For those new to the city or seasoned Manhattanites looking for a brief respite from the daily grind — elevate yourself. The Empire State Building Observatory offers a quarter-mile high escape from the hustle and bustle of New York City. Been there, done that? Not at 2AM you haven’t. From now until February 28, both the 86th Floor and 102nd Floor observatories are extending their hours on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays.
Few spots in New York offer a more unique, tranquil, or romantic experience. The best aerial view on the East Coast offers an eerily silent bird’s eye vista that reaches well into NJ on a clear night. Your girlfriend’s toes won’t be touching the ground when you slip her a kiss at 1,200 feet.
For more information of pricing, discounts, and hours, check out
the Empire State Building website.
Note: Extended hours have been made permanent.
