“Go, go to your archives. That was the call, and Fort Worth-based-workwear-juggernaut Dickies heard it and is re-releasing its “Uniform Shirt” ($175) and “Uniform Pant” ($200) this coming July. Both pieces — part of the company’s new 1922 Collection, which will initially be available at Unionmade in S.F., Stronghold in L.A. and Luther’s in Austin — are made in the United States at the oldest and longest continuously operating Dickies factory in Uvalde, Texas. Boom.”

BK Fashion Week
The Kings County version of New York Fashion Week features 11 global designers showcasing their collections at the Brooklyn Navy Yard. During the six-hour event, you’ll be dazzled by edgy styles from Swiss-born designer Djamee and handcrafted lacy silk pieces from Nina Athanasious (solo designer for Germany’s Das Komitee). Guests will groove to the beats of R&B artist Robbie Nova and enjoy a cocktail reception after the show. Best of all, proceeds from the event will be divided between the Brooklyn Style Foundation and co-host Abner Louima’s foundation, which raises funds to build hospitals in Haiti.
