Monopoly Revolution

Circle takes the square.  A terrible reference, I know, but that does seem to be the thought suggested by Hasbro with the 75th anniversary edition of their classic board game.  Aside from the design shift, though, there is also another drastic change in game play.  Monopoly money, the mainstay of broke humor, is absent in this manifestation.  Instead, an electronic central bank fitted with credit card slots keeps track of game transactions.  A sign of the times I guess – heartfelt empathy goes out to all those who loved to be the banker (no more clandestine cheating).
